The first data on the available Redmi 14C smartphone appeared at the end of July, and now the future novelty of the Redmi brand has been spotted on one of the Vietnamese online platforms, where it is indicated that the device will go on public sale on August 31.
The Redmi 14C is credited with a 6.88-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a frame rate of 90 Hz, a modest MediaTek Helio G81 processor, a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera with a teardrop notch, and a 5,160 mAh battery with 18-watt charging.
The MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, which has not yet been officially introduced, is likely to be a slightly accelerated version of the Helio G80 platform, but with a thinner process technology.
The new Redmi 14C will be offered in three variants, differing in sets of RAM and internal memory – 4/64 GB, 4/128 GB and 6/128 GB.
Interestingly, the future Redmi 14C 5G will be available on the global market, in Japan, India and China (catalog numbers 2411DRN47G, 2411DRN47R, 2411DRN47I and 2411DRN47C), so by the standards of the brand it will be a fairly wide release.
Moreover, this will be the first affordable Redmi C-series smartphone introduced in Japan — previously, Redmi brand devices of this level had not appeared in this country.
