A couple of days ago, the Taiwanese company MediaTek added pages to its website with the new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X processors, which are designed for mid-range devices.
The only difference between the Dimensity 7300 and the Dimensity 7300X, which we were able to find on the official website, is the support for two displays in the 7300X model, which is achieved through MiraVision 955 technology.
By the way, MediaTek itself positions the new products as the heirs of the Dimensity 7050 chipset, which was a clone of the Dimensity 1080, which was released at the end of 2022.
The new Dimensity 7300 and 7300X differ from them in a more advanced process technology (4nm instead of 6nm), new Arm Mali-G615 MC2 graphics, and the frequency of four high-performance Arm Cortex-A78 cores reduced from 2.6 to 2.5 GHz. They are complemented by four economical Cortex-A55 cores at the previous frequency of 2.0 GHz.
MediaTek claims that the chips began to consume 25% less energy, while delivering 20% more fps in games. Both chips support LPDDR4X/LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory standards, screens up to 144 Hz and cameras up to 200 MP resolution.
