Yesterday, among other new products, Xiaomi introduced smartphones of the new top-of-the-line Redmi K80 under its subsidiary brand Redmi, which are distinguished by advanced hardware, decent cameras and high-capacity batteries.
The Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro received 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and a frame rate of up to 120 Hz, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 flash drives, 20-megapixel front-facing cameras, NFC modules, under-screen fingerprint scanners, stereo speakers, and moisture and dust protection according to the standard. IP68.
Both models also have Wi-Fi 7 wireless modules, GPS receivers with support for all global navigation systems, as well as IR ports for controlling household appliances.
The older Redmi K80 Pro model was also equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a triple main camera with 50, 32 and 50 MP image sensors, a Bluetooth 6.0 module, as well as a 6000 mAh battery with 120-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless.
In China, the Redmi K80 Pro will charge $511, $555, $595 and $665 for the 12/256 GB, 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB and 16 /1024 GB versions, respectively.

In China, the Redmi K80 will be offered at prices of $375, $415 and $470 for variants with 16/256 GB, 16/512 GB and 16/1024 GB memory sets, respectively. Versions with 12 GB of RAM are, of course, cheaper – 12/256 GB for $343
and 12/512 GB for $398.

Quite predictably, out of the box, the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro run the latest proprietary HyperOS 2.0 firmware, built on at least the latest Android 15 operating system.
By the way, the Redmi K80 model may enter the global market under the trade name Poco F7 Pro, but this is not certain, especially since there are rumors about the possible release of the Poco F7 Ultra.
