Unisoc, known for its affordable processors for smartphones and tablets, has unveiled the latest Unisoc T8300 5G chipset, aimed at improving mobile device performance through AI.
The Unisoc T8300 5G announcement highlights improved performance and gaming efficiency, as well as better camera and display performance.
Characteristics of Unisoc T8300 5G
The Unisoc T8300 5G chip, which is manufactured using TSMC‘s 6nm process technology, received two “large” Arm Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of 2.2 GHz, six “small” Cortex-A55 cores operating at a frequency of 2.0 GHz, as well as Arm Mali-G57 graphics.
The Unisoc T8300 5G also supports 5G and NR-NTN, LPDDR4/4X RAM, UFS 2.2 flash drives, cameras up to 108 MP, as well as displays with a resolution of up to Full HD+ and a frame rate of up to 120 Hz.

Unisoc T8300 5G Test Results
The test results show that the Unisoc T8300 single-chip system scores more than 510,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark, which positions it as a fairly strong solution in its segment.
In addition, the processing efficiency based on AI algorithms has improved by 28%, and the overall performance of the chipset has increased by 51% relative to its predecessor, which ensures smoother multitasking and AI-related tasks.
