Xiaomi developers are not particularly straining to continue deploying the new HyperOS 2 software platform among Chinese devices and have rolled out another update for the top-end Redmi K70 Ultra smartphone.
So far, this firmware, which is numbered 2.0.6.0.VNNCNXM, is distributed only to participants in the Mi Pilot testing program, but if no serious problems are found during the tests, it will be distributed to all owners of this device.

Recall that the Redmi K70 Ultra, introduced in July 2024 (details), received a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen from TCL with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and a frame rate of up to 144 Hz, a top-end MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, a triple main camera based on a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 sensor, a 20 MP front-facing camera, as well as a 5500 mAh battery with 120-watt charging.
