Chinese smartphone manufacturers, including Xaomi, are gradually moving towards increasing import substitution in the field of mobile cameras for their devices.
In the cameras of recent smartphone models, Sony image sensors are increasingly being replaced with OmniVision sensors, but, apparently, manufacturers will soon begin to massively switch to Chinese matrices from the SmartSens brand.
According to the reputable network informant Digital Chat Station, flagship SmartSens SC5A0CS (1″, 50 MP, RYYB) and SmartSens SC590XS (1/1.3″, 50 MP, RYYB) sensors will appear on the market in the near future.
