In the middle of this year, Xiaomi will introduce a new flagship smartphone of the Redmi brand in the face of the Redmi K80 Ultra model, which will later become the basis for the Xiaomi 15T Pro device, and today an insider from Digital Chat Station shared the latest information on the upcoming new product.
In particular, the source claims that the Redmi K80 Ultra will receive an OLED LTPS display with a diagonal of more than 6.8 inches with a resolution of 1.5K, high frame rate and uniform bezels.
The most noticeable design change is the round camera module, which brings it closer to the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro, rather than the Redmi K70 Ultra, which had a square layout.
The Redmi K80 Ultra is expected to house a triple camera in this circular module located in the upper left corner of the rear panel. For durability, the smartphone will be equipped with a metal middle frame.

In terms of performance, the Redmi K80 Ultra will be powered by the yet-to-be-unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which will be a slightly improved version of the Dimensity 9400 chip.
It is also expected that the Redmi K80 Ultra will be equipped with a 7,400 or 7,500 mAh rechargeable battery with 100W fast charging support, just like its predecessor.
In addition to the Redmi K80 Ultra, two more devices are under development – the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8s Elite processor, which is expected to be announced in April, as well as a gaming tablet with the tentative name Redmi Pad Pro 2, which will be released along with the Redmi K80 Ultra in July.
At the end of the year, the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro models will appear, which, according to numerous rumors, will run on custom versions of the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipsets, respectively.
