Xiaomi developers have updated the Gallery proprietary application as part of the latest HyperOS firmware to V1.8.10.11.2. This update brings with it a new tool based on artificial intelligence, which Xiaomi called “Reflection Removal”.
In a couple of seconds, this new feature will allow Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco owners to eliminate any types of reflections in their photos, especially those created by sunlight at dusk.
In addition, the Reflection Removal tool also allows you to erase other similar anomalies, such as reflections from windows and panes.
At the moment, this new functionality is only available for Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro with Chinese HyperOS builds on board, but everything indicates that it will soon appear on other Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco flagship and sub-flagship models, including their global versions.
