Interesting information was shared yesterday by Xiaomi founder Lei Jun on his page on the banned social network X in Russia. According to him, Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence algorithms will be added to the firmware of the future HyperOS 2.0.
Gemini is a set of Google’s generative artificial intelligence models. They use natural language processing (NLP) to dynamically interpret and respond to the data that the user enters. Models can interact with different types of content—text, video, audio, and code in Python, Java, C++, and Go.
It is worth noting here that Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 builds will also have their own proprietary AI functions, a detailed list of which we have given here, but what Gemini will bring to Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices is still unknown.
Moreover, insiders claim that Gemini will be registered only on future Xiaomi flagship devices, but what functionality they will add is also unclear.
