Yesterday, Xiaomi developers finally rolled out the first global HyperOS 2 update for Poco F5, which was the European firmware OS2.0.1.0.VMREUXM, expectedly built on Android 15 (details).
Theoretically, HyperOS 2 builds for Poco F5 with indexes MI, RU and others should be released in the very near future, but it seems that everything is not so clear here.
To be more precise, a global update was released today for the Poco F5 with the first version of HyperOS based on Android 14, which brings the March security patch to the device.
It looks like the global HyperOS 2 update for the Poco F5 with the MI index and the Russian firmware with the RU index will be released much later.
However, Xiaomi experts know how to surprise (a fresh example) and can easily release MI and RU builds of HyperOS 2 for Poco F5 in the very near future.
