Xiaomi developers continue to release major updates to their proprietary HyperOS firmware, which Chinese sources call HyperOS 1.5. In fact, there is no such version of the system – we wrote about this in detail here.
This time we are talking about the global update HyperOS 1.5 for Xiaomi 12 Lite under the number OS1.0.6.0.ULIMIXM, the OTA version of which weighs about 516 MB and brings a lot of changes, although not as many as for Chinese models.

- Fixed: Some switches did not always work correctly.

- Optimization: The new long tap processing logic reduces the number of accidental triggers.

- Optimization: Improved sensitivity of calculator buttons.
Status bar, notification shadow
- Fixed: Single-line notification icons were not fully displayed.
- Fixed: Empty notifications appeared, only the icon was displayed.
- Fixed: The 5G icon in the status bar was not fully displayed after switching the font size or switching to a third-party font.
So far, this HyperOS 1.5 build for Xiaomi 12 Lite is distributed only among the participants of the Mi Pilot testing program, but if there are no problems with the update, all owners of this model will start receiving it.
