Xiaomi 15, introduced at the end of October (details), has been on sale in the Chinese market for several weeks and will soon be available outside China, although Xiaomi has not yet announced an exact release date for the global version.
In any case, the global version of the flagship Xiaomi 15 with the catalog number 24129PN74G has been highlighted in the database of the popular Geekbench test package, in particular in the AI tests section.
The test results on the benchmark’s website are mixed, so it’s too early to compare the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip from Xiaomi 15 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the previous Xiaomi 14.
Moreover, these Xiaomi 15 tests were conducted only on the computing cores of the chipset (CPU), and not on its graphics processor (GPU) or neural unit (NPU), which, of course, is not a typical use case.
By the way, the global Xiaomi 15 was tested with a basic 12 GB of RAM on board, and it was running the latest proprietary HyperOS 2 firmware based on the at least new Android 15 operating system.
However, it was easy enough to predict even without confirmation from Geekbench, but what we really want to know is the price. However, it will be officially announced only during the global premiere of Xiaomi 15, so we’ll wait.
