Xiaomi continues to recruit participants in the beta testing program for global HyperOS 2 firmware (including HyperOS 2.1 and HyperOS 2.2), which is also known as Mi Pilot.
To be among the first to receive the latest HyperOS 2 updates, join the beta test program and become a tester, but keep in mind that the test firmware may be unstable!

Key conditions for participating in the beta test
- The Xiaomi Community account must exist for at least 30 days.
- The account level in the community is not lower than the second one.
- 60+ points were scored for theoretical testing when applying.
Additional conditions for participation in the beta test
- Testers should have a high tolerance for problems and be willing to collaborate with developers to solve problems with detailed information.
- It is expected that users participating in the program will be able to restore the phone in case of a firmware failure and will be willing to take the risk of unsuccessful updates.
- They should actively participate in testing and provide feedback and suggestions.
- Testers must be over 18 years old.
How do I apply to participate in the beta test?
Install the official Xiaomi Community app from the Google Play app store and log in to your Mi account.
Go to Me (ME) – Settings (Set Up) and change the region to Global. The language of the application will change to English.
After that, Beta testing will appear in the Set Up section. The system will check whether the program is available for your device. After choosing the required program, take a theoretical test and score at least 60 points.
The decision on admission to the beta program will be made within 7 days.
New beta firmware versions may not arrive immediately, even after the decision to join the program is made.
The Beta testing section may not have beta programs available for you if your device is not participating in it.
