Owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones, who recently received the next HyperOS 2 or HyperOS 2.1 update, began to complain that the Gallery in the menu of recent applications is blurred.
After updating Poco F5 to Hyper OS 2, this problem appeared. The gallery does not display photos in the multitasking menu. Is that the case for everyone? Everything was displayed before the update. Can someone suggest a solution to the problem?

How do I make sure that the gallery doesn’t get stuck in the recent ones? Redmi Note 13, HyperOS 2.0.7.0.

In fact, this is a standard HyperOS setting called Thumbnail Blur, which appears to be enabled by default for the Gallery in certain HyperOS 2 and HyperOS 2.1 firmware versions.
We have already talked in detail about thumbnail blurring in this article, and to disable thumbnail blurring for the Gallery, go to Settings – Desktop —The location of the objects in Recent and select Blur thumbnails. Already in this section, we deactivate the switch for the Gallery.

P.S. Other instructions on configuring the HyperOS software platform and using its features on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are available on our website in this section.
