As you know, the Google dialer, which is installed in most global HyperOS firmware for Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices, has a noise reduction function by default, which is designed to mute third-party sounds other than the user’s voice, but in some cases it needs to be disabled.
In particular, there are situations when the noise reduction function itself does not work correctly, causing inconvenience to users when making calls. In addition, there is a frequent overlap of the microphone on the upper end of the device with a case, finger or ear.
It is in such scenarios that you need to disable noise reduction on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones with Google dialer on board.
To disable the noise reduction function on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco, launch the dialer itself, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner, select Settings.
