In this guide, we will talk about how to enable a useful feature on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones with HyperOS 2 firmware on board, which automatically improves and speeds up the system when you lock and unlock your device.
To be more precise, among the settings of HyperOS 2, in particular in the Security application, there is an option that allows us to increase the speed of our Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco every time we lock it.
It automatically clears the cache and stops unnecessary processes as soon as we stop using the device, which makes the system work noticeably faster and smoother after unlocking.
When we use our Xiaomi, the HyperOS 2 system actively generates certain processes and stores files in the cache – they are required at the moment, and then they are no longer needed.
To activate this feature on your Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco, you need to launch the Security system application, click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner, select Acceleration, and set the cache clearing frequency in the Clear Memory sub-item. We recommend setting a period of 30 minutes.
In this simple way, you can speed up your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco without repeating the same manual cleaning process every day.
