The owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco, who have received the global HyperOS 2 update, continue to complain that in the new version of the system, Xiaomi developers have removed the possibility of increasing the size of desktop icons.
In principle, everything is clear here – the company is trying to bring the interface of the proprietary HyperOS platform to a certain standard, but such drastic changes look very strange, since users are used to the fact that MIUI and HyperOS shells offer quite a wide range of customization options.
After getting Hyper OS 2 on my RN 13, the desktop shortcuts have shrunk without being able to zoom in. I highly recommend not rushing to install the new version.

As a result, users of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco now have to resort to changing the proportions of the interface display and, deep down, hope that the developers will still return to HyperOS 2 the ability to resize icons on the desktop.
With my poor eyesight, large desktop icons were very convenient for me, but for some reason the ability to resize icons was removed from HyperOS 2.
To enlarge the desktop icons in HyperOS 2 Global, go to Settings – Advanced Settings – Special Features – Vision tab – Zoom on the screen (or in the settings search, type Zoom), where you can select the size L.
