This fall, Xiaomi will introduce a new version of its proprietary HyperOS 3 software platform, updates from which will mostly be based on the latest Android 16 OS, and owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are already wondering if their HyperOS 3 device will run on Android 16.
You can quickly and easily check your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco for compatibility with HyperOS 3 and Android 16 using the unofficial MemeOS Enhancer application, which can be found on Google Play and installed on your device.
After launching the application, you need to select a free data plan, after which its main screen will open, where the model of your device with the code name will be displayed, as well as information about future updates to HyperOS 3 and Android 16.
It is worth noting here that the MemeOS Enhancer application does not always work correctly and may well be mistaken in the question of whether your Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco will receive, which is worth bearing in mind.
Moreover, some of its functions, such as installing new versions of system applications, can lead to serious problems and we recommend using it only to check the compatibility of your device with future major updates.
By the way, this program is periodically removed from the Google Play app store – according to rumors, at the request of Xiaomi. It was originally called MIUI Downloader and then changed a couple more names.
P.S. Other instructions on configuring the HyperOS software platform and using its features on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are available on our website in this section.
