As we know, Xiaomi‘s current proprietary HyperOS 2 firmware contains a lot of useful and not very useful settings that allow you to fine-tune your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco.
In this article, we will talk about how in HyperOS 2 you can remove the frame rate limit for gaming applications, which is set to 60 Hz by default.
Limiting the refresh rate to 60 Hz on Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco can be useful, for example, in the case when the hardware of the smartphone is quite weak, and the game by default sets a high frame rate, as a result of which it is simply impossible to play.
To remove the 60 Hz refresh rate limit for gaming applications on your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco, go to Settings – Advanced Settings – For developers, where we find the High Frame Rate switch in games and activate it.
