Apparently, not all owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are aware that the company’s developers can directly send a report from their device about any problems in the HyperOS firmware.
The HyperOS developer feedback feature can be found in the settings of your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco – this is the very last item, which is called Feedback.
When opening it for the first time, you must agree to the terms, after which the following sections will be available:
- My review. Your previously submitted reports and, if available, developer responses are stored here. At the same time, quite old queries are gradually being deleted, and developers are extremely reluctant to write answers.
- Magazines. Directly in this section, you can file a complaint about the operation of the HyperOS proprietary system or suggest any innovations or fixes. It is divided into topics, and at the very bottom of the list there is a small instruction.
- Support. This item is intended to provide up-to-date information on software support for Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices. However, in English.
- Questions and answers. This section is intended to inform users about ways to solve common problems with Xiaomi devices. Its developers update it relatively frequently and it will help solve a standard set of problems with HyperOS.
A separate large Send Report button is implemented to create a non-standard report on a problem that is not found in the Journal or Questions and Answers sections, or to write a suggestion for the device.
Here you will need:
- describe the problem (preferably in English),
- attach her photo, screenshot or video,
- select the appropriate category from the suggested list and the time to fix it.,
- specify your contacts,
- add a log (the system will collect basic information about the device to identify the problem).
In the future, all that remains is to click on Send, wait for the report to be generated and wait for the result.
After sending, information about the submitted report will be reflected in the My Review section, and the assigned number will be added a little later, after the developers fix it.
