For the flagships of the Xiaomi 15 family, the first beta versions of the major HyperOS 2.2 update have been released, with firmware numbers like OS2.0.2 xx, and the latest 6.0 Camera is seen in their composition.
The Camera 6.0 app in the HyperOS 2.2 updates will bring the following to Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices:
- The font has been changed.
- A number of options have been moved to settings.
- Swipe up to add additional functions that were previously located in the rightmost window.
- The Ultra HD mode appears, which, apparently, will be available only on flagship devices.
- Redesigned the layout of the sections in the settings.
In addition, the 6.0 Camera included in the HyperOS 2.2 firmware notes the following:
- Professionally executed visual effects that create a more cinematic shooting effect.
- Optimized function menus and settings pages for easier operation.
- Improved street photography mode with a simplified interface, improved crop lines and a more realistic atmosphere.
- Professional mode update with redesigned interface layouts and less shadowing of the preview for more concentrated creative work.
- Optimize director mode with professional video recording and the ability to connect multiple cameras.
Of course, for now we are talking about Chinese builds of HyperOS 2.2, but global updates are on the way, which we have already discussed here. However, the globals may well get a stripped-down 6.0 Camera, and it may not reach budget devices and mid-range devices at all.
