Xiaomi developers continue to deploy the global version of the new HyperOS 2 platform and have already released MI and EU firmware for a number of Xiaomi models (all released builds).
However, today they still got to the Redmi brand devices – the first HyperOS 2 Global received was the Redmi Note 13 4G, as we wrote about in this article, and now it’s the turn of the Redmi Note 12 4G (codenamed tapas).
The global HyperOS 2 update for Redmi Note 13 4G has received the number 2.0.5.0.VMTMIXM and is currently distributed only to users participating in the Mi Pilot testing program. However, if no serious problems are identified, all owners of this model will start receiving updates.
