Xiaomi specialists continue to deploy the new HyperOS 2 proprietary platform outside of China and are gradually releasing appropriate HyperOS 2 Global updates for compatible Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models (firmware list).
However, the more users of Xiaomi devices receive global HyperOS 2 on their device, the more complaints about its incorrect operation appear on the Network.
After the HyperOS 2.0.5.0 update that came the other day, the sound in the Bluetooth headphones disappeared. I’ve tried different headsets and speakers. There’s a problem everywhere. There is a connection, it responds to the buttons from the headphones, but the sound itself is gone. Neither reconnecting nor rebooting helps – there is no sound in the headphones. Has anyone encountered this? Is there a solution, or is it due to a bug in the firmware?

We have already written in more detail about this here, here and here, but in short, the following problems are quite often observed:
- The smartphone freezes and slows down
- Small application icons
- Convenient desktop grids are not for everyone.
- Problems with unlocking (fingerprint scanner and graphic key)
- Fast discharge of the battery
- Periodic reset of desktop settings
- The lack of AI functions that are stated in the changelogs
- Problems with the stability of mobile Internet and Wi-Fi connections
After receiving the Hyper 2, Redmi laptop 13 began to think longer about the response in applications and the Internet sometimes slows down – both from Wi-Fi and from the network. I’m waiting for an update with fixes, there are no arts or artificial AI, but I read that this is all only in older models.
However, although the above bugs in global builds of HyperOS 2 are mentioned on thematic resources quite often, not all owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco complain about its operation.
Xiaomi 13T Pro with Hyper OS 2 — the flight is normal. On the contrary, I did not notice any differences from the first version. The battery lasts the same long time, the network remains unchanged. Well, maybe the menu appears a little smoother.
In general, not everything is so bad – there are more and more positive reviews about the global HyperOS 2. Moreover, they are written by the owners of both flagship and sub-flagship devices, as well as mid-range devices.

In addition, there are very few complaints about HyperOS 2 Global from users of budget devices like the Redmi 12 – apparently everything in their firmware is so stripped down that there is simply nothing to “break”.
I have a Redmi 13 with the recently received OS2.0.1.0.VNTRUXM firmware, there are no problems with the word at all. Except that I didn’t find any of the chips and buns promised for Hyper OS 2, although I wasn’t expecting them 🙂
We also do not recommend installing the HyperOS 2 update that came to your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco right away – it’s better to wait a bit and read the reviews of real users.
