Xiaomi developers are working on HyperOS 2.1 builds, testing major HyperOS 2.2 updates, but they don’t forget about the basic HyperOS 2, today they released a new version of the HyperOS 2 Launcher RELEASE-5.39.40.11112.
The update brings back the popular grids for desktop icons to Xiaomi and Redmi devices, instead of the Dense and Standard ones, and also brings a number of other innovations.:
- Desktop grids: 4×6, 4×7, 5×9.
- AI answers in the app search (not for all devices).
- Optimization of the application and general improvements in its operation.
The new version of the HyperOS 2 launcher will gradually arrive on Xiaomi and Redmi devices, but if you can’t wait to try it out, you can download it from our website at this link and install it yourself.
If something went wrong or the app is not working properly:
Go to Settings – Applications – All applications – 3 dots at the top – Show all applications – System Shell – Delete updates.
