Today, Xiaomi developers have rolled out another update to the Theme system application for HyperOS 2 Global, in which, in addition to minor fixes and innovations, a hidden feature has been added to create animated widgets with your pets.
This functionality is called AI pets and so far it is hidden in the system settings, although it can be relatively easily launched and such a widget can be added to the desktop of your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco.
The experiment to study this function involved a Xiaomi 13T smartphone with the latest OS2.0.104.0.VMFEUXM firmware on board, as well as a Ginger cat.
First of all, we install a new version of the Theme application that bears the name and number Themes V2.9.1.3-global (download).
Then, if you have not previously installed the Activity Launcher application version 2.0.7, download it from our website, install it and run it. Next, click on the search icon, where we enter PetsListActivity, after which we get the only option with the Topic title.
Tap on it and get the desired PetsListActivity, which you want to launch by clicking. Here we click on the Start action button, after which we get to the main menu of AI-pets with the option to add your own.
Next, you will be prompted to select a pet photo from the Gallery, after which the Create button will appear. Next, the AI will start creating the widget and, it should be noted, Xiaomi servers are often overloaded, but if you wait, you will get your pet in AI processing. Moreover, it will immediately register on the desktop of your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco.
As a result, an animated widget with an AI version of your pet will appear on the Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco desktop, tapping on which it will move. It’s a small thing, but it’s nice 🙂
