Xiaomi has launched a new Live Photos feature, fully integrated into the Gallery app from HyperOS 2, which allows us to create dynamic images or photos and which is very similar to Live in iOS.
The most interesting thing is that Live Photos will enable owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices to combine multiple videos into one dynamic image (something like the well-known gif), thereby covering several moments in one glance.
To do this, simply select the videos you want to edit, specify the exact moment you want to show, and arrange them in vertical or horizontal stripes, depending on your preferences.
That is, using the Live Photos feature from HyperOS 2 and without installing additional software, you can edit any videos and turn them into a dynamic image in a matter of seconds. In addition, the resulting image can be shared on any social network.
Interestingly, the Live Photos functionality included in the HyperOS 2 Gallery app is compatible with iOS live streams, meaning you can share them with your iPhone and play them back in the Photos app as if it were your own live stream in the system.
In short, this is a very practical and fun feature that expands the capabilities of our Xiaomi without having to resort to the services of third-party applications.
At the moment, dynamic image creation is only available on the new Chinese Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro model (details), although Live Photos will appear a little later on a large number of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices that already have HyperOS 2 installed.
