Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek has introduced a new single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 8350 system, which is designed for smartphones of the sub-flagship level. However, the novelty is not much different from the Dimensity 8300 chip.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 is also produced using a 4nm process technology at the factories of the contract manufacturer TSMC and includes a similar set of processor cores.

Characteristics of MediaTek Dimensity 8350
To be more precise, the SoC Dimensity 8350 was equipped with four “large” Arm Cortex-A715 cores with a clock frequency of up to 3.35 GHz, a quartet of “small” Arm Cortex-A510 cores operating at 2.0 GHz, as well as an Arm Mali-G615 MC6 graphics controller.
In addition, the Dimensity 8350 chipset features a proprietary 5G modem with download speeds of up to 5.17 Gbps, a GPS receiver with support for all global navigation systems, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless interfaces, an Imagiq 980 signal processor and an updated NPU 780 unit.
The new Dimensity 8350 processor supports Full HD+ displays with a refresh rate of up to 180 Hz or WQHD+ with a frame rate of up to 120 Hz, LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, UFS 4.0 flash drives, and cameras up to 320 MP.
