Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek has announced that it will hold a special event on December 23, during which it will present its new chipset, which will undoubtedly be the MediaTek Dimensity 8400.
Despite the fact that the developer himself does not say anything about the upcoming single-chip Dimensity 8400 system, a well-known Digital Chat Station insider recently did it for him.

According to the informant, who, by the way, rarely makes mistakes, the Dimensity 8400 includes eight powerful Arm Cortex-A725 cores, differing in clock speeds — one up to 3.25 GHz, three up to 3.0 GHz and four more up to 2.1 GHz.
It is also specified that the Arm Immortalis G720 graphics accelerator, which is also present on board the Dimensity 8400, operates at a frequency of 1.3 GHz, and in the AnTuTu benchmark smartphones based on this processor will show results of about 1.8 million “parrots”.

By the way, the first device built on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC will beThe Redmi 4 Turbo, which is expected to premiere in early 2025.
