Apparently, by the end of the year, the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400 sub-flagship processor will be introduced, which, according to numerous rumors and leaks, will fit into the new Redmi 4 Turbo smartphone.
To be more precise, today the well-known network informant Digital Chat Station revealed the key specifications of the upcoming MediaTek novelty, confirming earlier assumptions.
According to the source, the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 single-chip system will include eight powerful Arm Cortex-A725 cores operating at different frequencies – one up to 3.25 GHz, three up to 3.0 GHz, and the remaining four up to 2.1 GHz.

In addition, the Arm Immortalis G720 graphics controller, also included in the Dimensity 8400 chip, will operate at 1.3 GHz, and in the AnTuTu test package, smartphones based on the Dimensity 8400 will gain about 1.8 million “parrots”.
The exact date of the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 premiere has not yet been disclosed, but there is unofficial information that the processor will be announced on December 23.
