This fall, the flagship Dimensity 9400 chips from Taiwanese developer MediaTek and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 from American Qualcomm will premiere, and today a well-known Digital Chat Station insider spoke about the high energy efficiency of the Dimensity 9400 and its performance.
According to the source, the single-chip Dimensity 9400 system will become a very energy-efficient chipset and will consume about 30% of the energy consumed by the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip when performing similar tasks.
Moreover, with such low power consumption, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 will have decent performance thanks to the latest Cortex-X925 processor cores, codenamed Blackhawk, which Arm engineers are developing in collaboration with MediaTek specialists.

In particular, it says that the Dimensity 9400 will show 30% higher performance in single-core mode compared to its predecessor in the face of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+.
The upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 are expected to be manufactured in the factories of Taiwanese contract manufacturer TSMC using the advanced 3nm N3 process technology.
