Yesterday, Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek quietly introduced the MediaTek Helio G91 processor, designed for affordable “entry-level” smartphones, and here we present the full specifications of the new product.
The MediaTek Helio G91 chipset includes two “large” Arm Cortex-A75 cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.0 GHz, six “small” Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz, as well as an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 graphics unit operating at 1 GHz.
In addition, the Helio G91 single-chip system has on-board wireless Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 modules, a Cat-7 DL / Cat-13 UL LTE modem, a GPS receiver with support for all global navigation systems and FM radio.
The MediaTek Helio G91 supports displays with a resolution of up to 2520 x 1080 and a frame rate of up to 90 Hz, LPDDR4X RAM, eMMC 5.1 flash drives and 64-megapixel cameras.
