Xiaomi developers, who are engaged in system software, shared another “HyperOS Optimization Report”, where they announced new problems with global HyperOS 2 firmware, which users complain about en masse and which were officially confirmed by the manufacturer.
It should be noted right away that the latest report has even decreased slightly relative to the previous summary. Both in terms of the number of identified problems and the number of affected devices.
- After upgrading to HyperOS 2, it was not possible to search on Wi-Fi channel 13 on the Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet with OS2.0.2.0.UMZMIXM global firmware on board. Due to regulatory risks in OS2, the status will be maintained in its current state (Channel 6). Please change the router channel to 6.
- There is no manual image rotation button on the Xiaomi Pad 6, still with the same OS2.0.2.0.UMZMIXM update. The manufacturer clarifies that this is intended, and the corresponding icon will be disabled on all tablet models.
- Slow charging of Redmi Note 12S with OS2.0.2.0.VHZMIXM build installed. The problem is being analyzed.
- Slow charging, it is impossible to charge up to 100% of the Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone. Affected firmware versions are OS2.0.2.0.VNQMIXM, OS2.0.1.0.VNQIDXM and OS2.0.1.0.VNQTWXM. The issue will be fixed in the next update.
