Xiaomi is preparing to premiere a new 4G smartphone Redmi, which, apparently, will be a budget model and has just been certified by the FCC agency under model number 25078RA3EL.
The upcoming Redmi product boasts a huge 6.9-inch IPS touchscreen display, a 6,000 mAh battery, 33W wired charging, and will come with HyperOS 2.2 firmware based on Android 15.
The live image of the smartphone, which is posted on the FCC website, shows a V-shaped notch for the front panel at the top of the screen, which, along with the lack of 5G support, confirms that this will be a very cheap device.
In addition, this device will enter the global market under the Poco brand, as it was previously certified by the EEC regulator with the model number 25078PC3EG.
At the same time, the numbers 2507 at the beginning of both model numbers imply that the smartphone will be released in July this year, although Xiaomi does not always adhere to the original schedule.
