Xiaomi released the top smartphones Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro at the end of September last year, and therefore we are approaching the appearance of their successors in the face of Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. Today, a list of their most important specifications has been published along with prices for the European market.
Let’s get right to the prices. Xiaomi 14T with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal flash memory will cost €649, and Xiaomi 14T Pro, which, by the way, will be a clone of the Chinese model Redmi K70 Ultra (announcement), with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory will cost €899. However, it is still unclear whether these devices will have other memory sets.
It is already known that the Xiaomi 14T will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor in the Ultra version, and the Xiaomi 14T Pro has been equipped with a more powerful single-chip Dimensity 9300+ system from the same Taiwanese developer MediaTek.
It is also said that both smartphones will be offered in three color solutions – black, gray and blue (Titanium Black, Titanium Grey and Titanium Blue). We know what you’re thinking: With so much titanium in the names, does this mean that the frame of these phones is made of titanium?
We wouldn’t hold our breath. After all, it’s not Xiaomi’s most high-end line, and titanium is still considered a premium material in the mobile world, so we see no reason why the company would offer it here. On the other hand, much stranger things have been happening, so we can’t completely rule it out.
Further, both devices will receive high-quality 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, a frame rate of up to 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 4000 nits.
The base Xiaomi 14T will have a 1/1.56-inch main camera with a Sony IMX906 sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom and 4x “optical equivalent” zoom, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree viewing angle.
The Pro version has a large 1/1.31″ main camera using a Light Fusion 900 image sensor with 2x “optical equivalent” zoom, as well as similar other cameras.
The Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro are equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W and 120W fast charging, respectively. They also have an IP68 protection class against dust and water ingress.
Moreover, the older Xiaomi 14T Pro will receive an advanced Wi-Fi 7 module, while the Xiaomi 14T will have to settle for only Wi-Fi 6E. Moreover, both devices will run the proprietary HyperOS firmware based on the Android 14 operating system.
The Xiaomi 14T measures 160.5 x 75.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195 grams, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro measures 160.4 x 75.1 x 8.39 mm and 209 grams.
