As expected, in April this year, Xiaomi will release a new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro smartphone under the Redmi trademark, which will appear on the global market a little later in the form of the Poco F7, and today a well-known Digital Chat Station insider shared details on the future novelty.
In particular, the source confirmed earlier rumors that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be built on the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm single-chip system with internal labeling SM8735, which seems to receive the marketing name Snapdragon 8s Elite.
According to network informants, the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chip will receive an 8-core architecture and will include one core with a frequency of 3.21 GHz, three cores with a frequency of 3.01 GHz, a pair of cores at 2.80 GHz and another pair at 2.02 GHz. The Adreno 825 controller will be responsible for graphics.
In addition, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is credited with a flat 6.67-inch OLED matrix with a resolution of 1.5K, a frame rate of up to 120 Hz and new “fluorescent materials”, as well as a battery with a capacity of at least 7000 mAh. The body of the device will receive a glass back and even a metal frame, which, however, was expected.
