Tomorrow, March 27, Xiaomi will present the top-end Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra smartphones under its subsidiary Poco brand (details), but the fate of the basic Poco F7 was still unclear – there were even rumors that the manufacturer had abandoned its release.
However, yesterday, entries appeared in the GSMA IMEI regulator’s database specifically dedicated to the Poco F7, which runs under catalog numbers 25053PC47G and 25053PC47I (Global and India). At the same time, the numbers 2505 indicate an announcement in May 2025.
The Poco F7 will be a rebranding of the yet-to-be-released Chinese Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model, which is expected to premiere in April.
The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is predicted to have a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K, a frame rate of up to 120 Hz and new “fluorescent materials”, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset (aka Snapdragon 8s Elite), as well as a battery with a capacity of at least 7000 mAh.
- Improved cooling system
- Advanced camera features
- Increased battery capacity
The exact date of the Poco F7 has not yet been announced by the manufacturer, but presumably the smartphone will be officially unveiled in the first half of May.
