In early August, a Poco F7 smartphone with the catalog number 2412DPC0AG suddenly appeared in the IMEI regulator’s database, and now the device has been spotted on the EEC website under the same label. This indirectly suggests that the Poco F7 will enter the market much earlier than expected.
If you look at the current Poco F6 (review), it was certified by the EEC agency in January of this year and was officially introduced in May. But if Poco does change its strategy for releasing F-series smartphones, then we can see the Poco F7 as early as December. Moreover, the numbers 2412 in his number indicate the same thing.
The Poco F7 is expected to be a rebranding of the Chinese Redmi Turbo 4 model for the global market, and its older brother, the Poco F7 Pro, will be a clone of the Chinese Redmi K80.
That is, given that the Redmi K80 line of devices is promised to be released in November, the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Pro may well be released at the very end of the year, but it is unclear on the basis of which model the Poco F7 will be built then – perhaps it will be a copy of one of the models of the future Redmi Note 14 line.
However, this is all just speculation, Xiaomi and its sponsored brand Poco have not confirmed any of this, and the release date of the Poco F7 remains in doubt.
