Nothing is known for sure about the Poco F7 Pro smartphone, about which a wide variety of rumors have been circulating online for a long time, but yesterday the upcoming Poco brand novelty with catalog number 24117RK2CG appeared in the database of the FCC regulator.
The FCC certification document reveals several key aspects of the Poco F7 Pro, offering a glimpse into its specifications. One of the features of the device is a 5830 mAh battery, although the charging speed has been reduced from 120 watts for its predecessor, the Poco F6 Pro, to 90 watts.
It is logical that the Poco F7 Pro will run Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 2 system, which is based on Android 15, which indicates a modern and multifunctional software.
Connectivity options, as indicated on the regulator’s website, include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, as well as support for 4G LTE and 5G NR in several frequency bands.
It is widely believed that the Poco F7 Pro will be a rebranding of the Chinese Redmi K80 model (announced), introduced at the end of November. If this is true, then the Poco F7 Pro will have similar hardware, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a frame rate of up to 120 Hz, as well as a 50-megapixel main camera based on the Sony LYT-800 sensor.
