Back in September of this year, the future Poco F7 Pro was registered in the IMEI agency database, and now the upcoming flagship of the Poco trademark has passed the certification procedure from the Singapore regulator IMDA, which indicates that Xiaomi is not going to delay its release to the market.
Recall that by the end of this month, Xiaomi will introduce top-end smartphones Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro under the Redmi brand, designed for the home market, and outside of China, according to insiders, they will be released under the trade names Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, respectively.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite single-chip systems are credited as the hardware basis for the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro models, but it’s hard to believe that the Poco F7 Ultra will also receive the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip – it makes no sense for the manufacturer to launch another competitor to the Xiaomi 15 and Redmi K80 series models.
The Poco F7 Pro is also credited with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K and a frame rate of up to 120 Hz, a 50-megapixel camera with optical stabilization, as well as a 6000 mAh battery with support for fast charging with a power of at least 90 watts, but most likely 120 watts.
