As we know, the Poco brand sponsored by Xiaomi has recently released new Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro smartphones, but it is not going to stop there and is preparing for the premiere devices of the Poco F7 family, among which the advanced Poco F7 Ultra model will be present for the first time.

As usual, the renamed product
The Poco trademark is part of the Xiaomi group, and with the exception of its first product, the Poco F1 smartphone (aka Pocophone F1), the rest of the devices have so far been either improved or renamed versions of the devices of the related Redmi brand.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the upcoming Poco F7 Ultra is the renamed Chinese flagship Redmi K80 Pro (announcement), which is codenamed miro, while its future global version from Poco is quite logically called miro_global.
It is expected that the F7 Ultra will retain the characteristics of the Redmi K80 Pro, although there will definitely be changes in appearance and technical differences are likely – the battery capacity and the set of main camera modules are at risk here.
The most powerful Poco smartphone to date
The Poco F7 Ultra will offer the best set of specifications among all existing Poco smartphones. It will not only contain the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm, but will also receive other flagship “buns”.
To be more precise, the Poco F7 Ultra will have a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels, a frame rate of up to 120 Hz and support for modern technologies, a top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 20 MP front-facing camera, IP68 protection against dust and moisture, and a battery. Powered by 6000 mAh with 120-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless.
Out of the box, the upcoming Poco F7 Ultra will run the latest proprietary HyperOS 2 firmware based on the equally recent Android 15 operating system.
Limited availability
It is worth noting that the Poco F7 Ultra will not be available in all regions where Poco is present, and there is only one regional version of the smartphone – Global with HyperOS 2 firmware under the MI index.
In particular, the device is expected to go on sale only in some countries in Europe and Southeast Asia, while it will not be sold in India.
Let’s add that the “brothers” of the Poco F7 Ultra in the form of the Poco F7 and Poco F7 Pro models will also be clones of Chinese models – Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and Redmi K80 (premiere), respectively.
The release date of the Poco F7 Ultra has not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer, but everything indicates that the official announcement of the smartphone will take place in the first half of spring.
