Just yesterday, we wrote that Xiaomi is preparing to premiere the top-end Poco F7 Ultra smartphone under the Poco brand (details), which, it seems, will become a global clone of the Chinese Redmi K80 Pro model, built on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
However, all this is not accurate and the Poco F7 Ultra may well become an independent device with powerful hardware, since the almost simultaneous release of Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Redmi K80 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra based on Snapdragon 8 Elite does not look very logical. However, the Poco F7 Ultra may be introduced only in the spring, so anything can happen.
In any case, today there is additional information about the Poco F7 Ultra. According to insiders, out of the box, the device will run the proprietary HyperOS 2.0 firmware based on Android 15, supplemented by the new Poco Launcher 5.0, which is currently being actively tested by developers.

Recall that we recently published detailed material on the changes and innovations that owners of Poco devices should receive with HyperOS 2.0 and Poco Launcher 5.0. You can read it here.
P.S. We have collected everything we know about the upcoming HyperOS 2.0 in this article, and you can read all the latest news about the new version of HyperOS in this section.
