Xiaomi has launched a budget smartphone Redmi 14C on the global market, which stands out for its large screen and new processor from Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek.
To be more precise, the Redmi 14C was equipped with a MediaTek Helio G81 single-chip system in the Ultra version, which, curiously, is not yet available on the official MediaTek website. However, this is probably an analogue of the well-known Helio G88, Helio G85, Helio G80.
The Redmi 14C also received a 6.88-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory, a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13 MP front-facing camera, and a 5,160 mAh battery with 18-watt charging.
The new Redmi brand has already appeared on the shelves in the Czech Republic at a price starting from €120 for the basic version of 4/128 GB, and the top version of 8/256 GB will cost €149.
