Xiaomi has unveiled an affordable Redmi 14R 5G smartphone, which is designed for the Chinese market and priced at $155 and $265 at launch for versions with 4/128 GB and 8/256 GB memory sets, respectively.
The new Redmi brand does not shine with its characteristics – it is a 6.88-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels and a frame rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 flash memory, a 13-megapixel main camera, a 5 MP front-facing camera, and a 5160 mAh battery with 18-watt charging.
The dimensions of the new Redmi 14R 5G are 71.88 x 77.8 x 8.22 mm with a weight of 212 grams, and out of the box, the smartphone runs the proprietary HyperOS firmware based on the Android 14 operating system.
