The budget smartphones Redmi 15C and Poco C85, which Xiaomi is expected to introduce in the very near future, have officially appeared in the GSMA database — a clear signal that their premiere is just around the corner.
The registration documents emphasize a wide regional coverage, including Global, Global NFC, EEA, and others. This is in line with Xiaomi’s established strategy of making its affordable devices available in many countries.
The catalog numbers of the upcoming new products of the Redmi and Poco brands are as follows:
Redmi 15C
- 25078RA3EA
- 25078RA3EY
- 25078RA3EL
- 25078RA3EE
Poco C85
- 25078PC3EE
- 25078PC3EG
The structure of the model numbers, in particular the prefix 2507, suggests that the release of the Redmi 15C and Poco C85 is scheduled for July 2025, but the manufacturer does not always adhere to the stated schedule.
Unfortunately, the specifications of the Redmi 15C and Poco C85 have not yet been disclosed, but we can safely assume that it will be a large IPS display, a modest MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, LPDDR4X RAM, eMMC 5.1 flash memory, as well as a battery with a capacity of about 6000 mAh with a fast charging capacity of 18 watts or, at best, 33 Watts.
