As we already know, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ smartphone, which, along with its counterparts, will be presented on September 26, was equipped with a 6,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery, but Xiaomi and Redmi decided not to stop there and equip the future flagship Redmi K80 with a 6,500 mAh battery.
Apparently, a large battery capacity in the range of 6000 to 6500 mAh will become a global trend for top-end and not-so-high-end smartphones in 2024-2025.

Moreover, the Redmi K80 is credited with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K and a frame rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 50-megapixel main camera with a telephoto lens that can also take macro photos, a glass back panel, and IP68 protection from moisture and dust.
The announcement of the Redmi K80 smartphone line, which will initially include the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro devices, as well as, possibly, the Redmi K80E, is expected in November or December of this year.
By the way, presumably, the Redmi K80 model will enter the global market in 2025 under the trade name Poco F7 Pro.
