And today, Thomas Wang (Wang Teng Thomas), who heads Xiaomi’s marketing department in China and is also the general manager of Redmi, began teasing the brand’s fans with the imminent appearance of the Redmi K80 Ultra through his Weibo account.
According to the top manager, the Redmi K80 Ultra will set a new standard in the price range of 3,000 yuan (about $415) and will be the most luxurious and productive smartphone in the segment.

He mentioned that the Redmi K80 Ultra will have a metal frame for improved heat dissipation and durability, which is commonly found in premium devices, and also hinted at several more “luxury” upgrades.
Recall that the Redmi K80 Ultra is credited with a 6.83-inch OLED LTPS screen with a resolution of 1.5K, a frame rate of up to 120 Hz and minimal bezels, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, a 50-megapixel Leica rear camera, and a 7,500 mAh battery with 100-watt charging.
