Xiaomi is slowly but surely deploying its new HyperOS 2 software platform outside of China and continues to release stable HyperOS 2 builds for global Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices in a not very logical manner. For example, yesterday we rolled out the global HyperOS 2 build for the Redmi Note 12 4G NFC.
The global HyperOS 2 update for Redmi Note 12 4G NFC is based on the latest Android 15 OS and has the OS2.0.8.0.VMGMIXM number, but so far it is available only to participants of the Mi Pilot beta test program, but if no problems are identified, all owners of HyperOS 2 will receive the “global” this device.
