Next week, the Redmi Note 14 smartphones are expected to be announced, which should initially include the Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G devices, and yesterday Xiaomi shared some interesting news about upcoming new products.
As reported, these new items of the Redmi brand fall under the advanced warranty service program with the modest name “King Kong Warranty Service”. Rather, the older Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Note 14 Pro+ 5G models will receive it.
The King Kong Guarantee Service program offers several key advantages. Firstly, this is a one-year warranty against accidental water damage, and secondly, you get a free replacement screen for the first year if you manage to break it.
But the real advantage is the five-year warranty on the battery. If the condition of your battery drops below 80% or performance problems occur during this time period, Xiaomi will replace it for free. This is a very generous offer, especially considering that most phone batteries begin to show signs of wear and tear within 2-3 years.
However, the “King Kong Guarantee Service” is relevant only for users from China – it is highly doubtful that such a generous offer will appear on the global market.

Recall that the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G smartphone is promised a fairly good Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, but the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is attributed to the less interesting MediaTek Dimensity 7350 platform.
Interestingly, there is still no more or less reliable information about the base model of the Redmi Note 14 5G – apparently, this is some kind of top-secret product of the company or this device is not being prepared for the premiere yet.
However, presumably, this very Redmi Note 14 5G was equipped with an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5 K and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, a 50-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
