Smartphones of the Redmi Note family are increasingly acquiring various “chips” that were previously unavailable in this segment – first they began to receive AMOLED screens and increasingly powerful chargers, then it was the turn of IP6x protection against moisture and dust and under-screen fingerprint scanners, and now they are promised metal frames.
Recently, several trustworthy insiders, including the well-known network informant Digital Chat Station, who is very rarely mistaken, hinted that the upcoming Redmi Note family of devices will be equipped with metal frames, which will make them more premium (and more expensive).
Apparently, we are talking about the future Redmi Note 15 line, which will be released in China this fall, and will appear on the global market in early 2026.
By the way, this Friday, January 10, Xiaomi will hold a major event, during which it will announce the new products of the Redmi brand in the face of the Redmi Note 14 series devices for the global market.
The Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note Pro 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G smartphones are expected to be presented, as well as a pair of 4G versions – probably the Redmi Note 14 4G and Redmi Note Pro 4G.
