The Redmi Watch 5 Active looks standard on the outside. The watch case is made of durable, high-quality plastic with a metallic coating, which gives the watch a matte finish.
The gadget was released in two classic colors: silver and black. The weight of the device together with the strap is 40 grams. Very light and compact. The case is 5 ATM waterproof – that is, you can safely dive underwater with the watch.
The novelty is equipped with a 2-inch LCD screen, it has a square shape with rounded corners. There is a thin black frame around the perimeter of the screen, which, of course, slightly reduces the working area, but not critically, and provides a screen-to-body ratio of 70%.
When the sun is bright, all the information is easy to read, because the display has enough brightness. There are more than 200 dials to choose from in the menu arsenal, but the manufacturer did not add the Always-on-Display function, which constantly displays important data on the main screen. And it should also be noted that there is no automatic brightness adjustment, you will have to adjust it manually.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active runs the proprietary Xiaomi HyperOS firmware, which gives you more options for pairing with other devices and making the gadget work faster.
Pairing takes place with a smartphone via Bluetooth 5.3. Thanks to two built-in microphones, noise reduction is provided and voice calls become more comfortable and cleaner.

The operation of the Redmi Watch 5 Active smartwatch is provided by a battery with a capacity of 470 mAh. Therefore, a charging cable will be required once every three weeks.
